The J.I.S.A. Prep School Football Competition is now underway.

FOUNDER'S DAY
Mavisville continues to be grateful to our Founder, Miss Jeanetta L. Morris, O.D. for her vision and for establishing Mavisville as a school that is Christ-centered and one where the staff is committed to excellence and the parents try to give support.

There are still 50th Anniversary Souvenirs available and these can be purchased at the school from Miss Beverley Ledgister, these include Polo Shirts, Key Rings, Sun Visors.  Proceeds are in aid of upgrading the Library and Computer Lab.

The P.T.A.'s Elections were held on Tuesday, September 18, 2007.  Thanks to all those who came out and voted.

SPELLING BEE

Khandae Wright emerged as 3rd place winner in the 2006 - 2007 Spelling Bee Finals Competition.  She was also the recipient of the Gleaner Company's Scholarship Award for her outstanding performance in the G.S.A.T. Exams.   We are very proud of her and wishes her all the best at Wolmer's Girls School

Spelling Bee was held on Tuesday, October 10, 2007 and Tremaine Dixon and Crystal Fullerton represented the school.  Tremaine was placed 1st while Crystal was placed 7th  in the parish finals. We are proud of you both.  Keep up the good work and continue making your school proud.
